We participated as a partner in the Visayas Tech Planter hosted by Leave a Nest Philippines in the Philippines.

What is VISAYA Tech Planter？

Leave a Nest Philippines aims to create a regional ecosystem where deep tech startups can work to solve problems in the VISAYA region. This initiative started in Japan in 2014 and has been implemented in the Philippines since 2017. It is feasible through the cooperation of various stakeholders to develop the ecosystem and support the social implementation of deep tech. While Tech Planters in the Philippines have supported researchers and startups in different regions of the country, the island nature of the Philippines requires a more decentralized support model where local players from different regions play a role in supporting the local deep technology ecosystem.
